Family Coleslaw

1/2 pound red cabbage
1 medium leek -- trimmed and sliced
6 ounces carrots -- peeled and coarsely grated
1/2 small sweet onion -- finely chopped
2 ounces seedless raisins
2 ounces salted peanuts
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 1/2 fluid ounces soured cream
salt and pepper
Finely shred the cabbage and place in a large bowl. Add the leek, carrot, raisins and peanuts.
Mix the mayonnaise and soured cream together and blend with other ingredients.
This is best served a day after making.
