Goulash Soup

600 grams beef
1 large onion -- peeled & chopped
3 tablespoons oil
1/2 teaspoon carawat
1 clove garlic -- crushed
ground paprika, sweet
salt
1 medium carrot -- diced
1 medium parley root -- chopped
2 peppers -- seeded & chopped
1 medium tomato -- quartered
2 stalks celery, including leaves -- chopped
400 grams potatoes -- peeled & chopped
pasta pieces
Heat oil in a large pot and cook onions until translucent. Add caraway and garlic, cook briefly, remove from the head and add ground paprika and meat, season with salt.
Cover with a lid and cook gently for about 30 minutes adding a little water.
Add the vegetables and pour over 1.5 litres of water. Then add the potatoes. Cook for another 30 minutes then add the pieces of pasta, cook for another 5 minutes.
