Naan Bread

4 cups Plain flour
1 cup Milk -- boiled and cooled
1 Egg
2/3 cup Natural Yoghurt
2 tablespoons Groundnut oil
1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
40g Fresh Yeast
2 teaspoons Sugar

Cream the yeast with the sugar until liquid; add the milk and blend together.

Put the remaining ingredients into a heavy duty mixer with dough hook attached. Add the milk and yeast mixture and knead for about 10 minutes.

Allow to rise for about an hour and a half.

Knock dough down and divide into 12 even portions.

Roll out into 'tear drop' shapes. Cook in a hot dry frying pan until risen and light brown.

When wishing to eat, reheat under a hot grill and spread with unsalted or garlic butter.
