Stilton & Cranberry Scones

225 grams self raising flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
25 grams butter or margarine
125 mls milk
175 grams Stilton cheese
75 grams fresh cranberries
Light the oven 200C, Gas mark 8.
Sieve the flour and baking powder into a mixing bowl. Rub in the butter.
Add the Stilton and cranberries and mix lightly, make a well in the centre and add most of the milk.
Mix to a soft dough with a palette knife, adding the rest of the milk if necessary. Don't worry if the cranberries break, it looks nice!!
Place the dough on a floured surface and lightly knead. Using the flat of your hands, pat out to 1cm thickness.
Cut into rounds using a cutter and place on a greased baking tray.
Bake in the oven for about 12 minutes. until well-risen and golden brown.
Place on a cooling tray, serve split in half with butter
